I never saw the film until this BLU RAY release and I must say...this DVD is worth it's weight in gold. The West never looked better and JOHN FORD made sure of that! Wayne gives an Oscar worthy performance AND yes...he was a great actor! GREAT performances from the whole cast and I was really surprised by JEFF HUNTER! Natalie Wood was fresh from REBEL WITHOUT A CAUSE and her sister Lana played Debbie as a small child. All GREAT stuff! GREAT extras too!
