"Coldplay" (Easy Guitar Tab)

Buying a guitar is really exciting. But it will be appropriate only if the whole buying process can be judged properly. Once you have decided what to buy, next question is, where to but it from? A proper decision should be taken after a proper research is done regarding the place from where to purchase the guitar.

Basically there are two options to buy a guitar. One is to buy it from a store selling guitar and other musical instruments and the other is to buy it online. However, in each case there are pros and cons. These should be known to the buyer as it will help to settle for the best choice. So let's find out what extract can be taken out from buying guitars online vs. buying guitars from a store.

Talking about buying guitars online vs. buying guitars from a store, the first fact that strikes the mind is inspecting the product. As it is known that it is necessary to examine the model properly before buying it, therefore, in this regard it is better to opt for the store. The reason is simple; it is only possible in a store to check out different guitars at a time before buying. The same is naturally not possible in case of online buying. Also here the payment has to be made first i.e. before the guitar is delivered. But some of the online sellers have return policies too which enables the buyer to return the defective instrument after examining it within the given time .

Next point about buying guitars online vs. buying guitars from a store, is that the buyer will have to depend on the advertisement in case of online process. Whatever it will portray about the company and the model, the buyer will have to believe. On the other hand while buying from the store the facts stated by ads can be easily verified.

Then again, in case of buying guitars online, sometimes the shipping costs for buying or returning the guitar can be expensive. On the other hand, the stores don't have such kind of issues. Most of the time there is no shipping charge. With it comes the oppurtunity of negotiating the price, which is not possible in the online buying process.

Surrounded by drawbacks, the online process has many advantages too as compared to the stores. Needless to say, the online process is really very comfortable. The main reason being the fact that it can be done from home, which saves the trouble of visiting a store that is situated far off.

In the debate of buying guitars online vs. buying guitars from a store, the next fact that comes along is getting a guitar expert opinion. While buying from the store you either have to rely on your judgment or dealer's words. But while buying guitars online, this facility is provided by way of product reviews from experts as well as comments from users who have experienced buying from a particular site before.

Digging out the next fact from the discussion regarding buying guitars online vs. buying guitars from a store, is the variety option. The online process offers endless options about the guitars. Any kind of model or brand, sometimes even the rare models are easily available on the Internet. Whereas, in the stores the options are most of the time less and the rare models needs placing special order.

One of the important fact regarding buying guitars online is that most of the time the online companies have no sales tax charges. This saves you some money when you buy guitar online.

These were some trade offs to be considered while deciding on buying guitars online vs. buying guitars from a store. The final decision to a large extent depends on the individual preference and circumstances.

XYZ: The Story Behind

Frederic Chopin was alone among the great composers in that he made his living almost entirely from teaching piano.

During the period around the 1840's he was the most famous piano teacher in Paris, largely because he was also one of the most famous and beloved composers in the world.

His roster of students contained many great and good pianists, among them Mikuli, who became the editor of Chopin's printed piano music.

Chopin taught at home in a lavish, well appointed studio. It contained two pianos: one beautiful Erard grand, on which the student played, and a small cottage upright, at which the master sat and demonstrated.

The master instructed his students to seek out and play only the finest pianos, as he thought playing on inferior instruments ruined a good finger technique. His emphasis at first was on relieving the tension found in many students' hands.

He began at eight in the morning and taught all day. This was because, as he said, "All those white gloves cost money." He was a dandy and fastidious dresser, and traveled only in the highest echelons of Paris high society, where he was in constant demand both as pianist and personality.

To the talented student, he was both inspiring and confusing. Giving great advice was his stock in trade, but one student pointed out that, "The master is so confusing. He demonstrates how I should play, but every time he plays a piece, it is completely different!"

To the untalented, he could be cruel. Many of his students were titled young ladies of very high social standing but little talent who took lessons from Chopin because they could afford to and because it conferred social status to study with such a great master.

But his assistant, Mikuli, noted many times when these rich young ladies would be reduced to tears and run away in horror because the master had criticized their playing most harshly.

Rich or poor, at the end of the lesson the student put their payment in gold on the mantelpiece, while the master discreetly turned his back.

Great masters do not tarnish their hands with money.

If you're browsing the internet in search of a satellite radio service for the US and Canada, then you need only check two websites: Sirius and XMRadio. These two giants are your only options and yet you'll notice striking similarities between the two websites' design, the product pricing and the programmer's stations.

Rumors have been flying around that Sirius and XM will form a ground-breaking merger this year, uniting all 14+ million customers under one banner. However, as of right now, you'll need to know what makes each slightly unique.

Country Music Fans may favor the XM Radio satellite service, which provides listeners with two extra stations - one focusing on Americana Country like Robert Plant or Blackfoot, and the other focusing on Folk Country like Tim Garrison and The Nitty Gritty Band. Both stations have country music from the 80s and 90s, new country, bluegrass and classic country.

Christian Music Fans may favor XM one. This service includes one more Christian music channel than Sirius - in addition to Christian Pop / Rock and Gospel, XM also hosts a Southern Gospel channel with Gold City, Greater Vision and The McKarneys.

Electronic Music Fans will prefer the Sirius service if they'd like a Breakbeat/Old SKool station, in addition to the usual Trance/Progressive stations that both satellite radio services provide. XM has exclusive rights to acclaimed BPM, but Sirius has a special Dance Hits station.

Rock Music Fans will probably prefer Sirius. While XM provides four different "alternative radio" stations, a punk station, a heavy metal station, a jam bands station, a college indie station and three classic rock stations, Sirius gives subscribers roughly 23 stations with everything that XM's service has -- plus New Wave, Glam Metal, Jimmy Buffet, Grateful Dead, Elvis, Canadian rock, UK rock, Garage, 60s Rock, 70s Rock and an additional punk/ska station.

World Music Fans will find that both service providers offering two French stations, but Spanish-speaking subscribers will find XM the better option, since they offer Rock En Espanol, Regional Mexican, Latin Pop, Latin Jazz, Hispanic Rhythmic and Spanish AC. Sirius, on the other hand, has only one Spanish music station for Latin Pop. Additionally, XM has a station for African and a business station in Italian.

Rap and Hip Hop Fans may prefer XM because their service focuses on more Soul and Funk, along with uncensored Hip Hop and Urban Contemporary -- unless they're big Slim Shady fans, in which case they may need Sirius Radio's Eminem station.

In some ways, XM Radio caters to the aging population with Good Morning America, Casey Casem's Top 40 Countdown, Theme Time with Bob Dylan and Wolfman Jack. On the other hand, Sirius Radio goes after the 20-somethings crowd with Bam Marguera, Howard Stern, Jamie Foxx and Tony Hawk shows. However, both satellite radio service providers are likely to give you something you can enjoy.

Sports Fans will find many similarities in XM and Sirius service options. For instance, both providers have ESPN, Nascar and NHL exclusives, as well as both college and NFL football. XM gives better golf / PGA Tour coverage and Fox Sports, while Sirius gives better NBA coverage. On XM, catch shows with Jimmy Johnson, Dale Jr, Coach K, James Carville, Luke Russert and Cal Ripkin.

With the Delphi SkiFi2 radio, you can get a sports ticker to show game scores on your display screen and the SportsCaster comes with 30 sports presets programmed in. However, Sirius gives you game alerts, 30 presets and lists all your favorite teams in one category with the Sportster and Streamer satellite radios. Additionally, get exclusive programming with Jerry Rice, Daryl Johnston, Randy Cross, Adam Schein, Shannon Sharpe, Ray Evernham, Tony Stewart, Rick Ackerman and Frank Isola.

Whichever satellite radio service you prefer, you'll be surprised to find that both are competitively priced at $13/month and most of the radio components cost from $20 - $200. However, which ever service you choose for now, you will still need to purchase a satellite radio receiver and luckily, most of the satellite radios will work in your home and in your car.

Get all the information you need on the satellite radio service providers from Mike Selvon's portal, and leave a comment at his satellite radio network blog.

If your young ballerina, tap dancer or hip-hop performer starts to express more anxiety than excitement there are ways to help.

Firstly, you may be hearing expressions of natural stage fright, which almost everyone feels when the reality of opening night strikes - even if just for a few moments.

If you have a child that worries, let her/his teacher know that he/she needs encouragement as well as corrections. Remind your child of compliments regarding their dancing you may have overheard from the studio or stage area.

Some dance teachers like to provide each student with the music of their dances, so that they can practice mentally. When they are resting with their sore feet up at home, they can visualize and feel themselves performing, applying their corrections over and over. The earlier they learn this the better. It is a method that actually helps develop neural pathways and better performance. This is a great way to increase confidence, without getting exhausted, or spraining and straining muscles.

Having a couple of soft ice packs handy at home eases aches and pains.

For older children, remind them about good nutrition. While a lot of sugar can be a tranquilizer, it also weakens the muscles. And for many children sugar is an irritant and increases nervousness.

Fruit is a wonderful source of the minerals that get lost in excessive perspiring....and that, along with good water, is something that students can have with them during long rehearsal days. Replacing minerals and staying hydrated (frequent sips, don't wait until your throat is dry) also helps prevent muscle spasms.

Backstage volunteers can help by remaining cheerful and calm no matter what happens. If a child freezes up in the wings, deep breathing can remedy it. Practicing deep breathing is a good idea during staging rehearsals, while kids are in the wings waiting for their entrances.

Speaking of waiting... modern theaters are often chilly with air conditioning. Your child will need leg warmers, even sweats, to keep their muscles warm during the staging rehearsals.

Having them ready with everything they will need in the dressing room, with some Band Aids, a sewing kit, extra hair pins and nets - anything that could be suddenly required - will reassure a worrier that all angles are covered. Aside from that, it is a good professional habit to ingrain in aspiring dancers.

Natural stage fright turns into exhaltation when the performances are done and well received - and hopefully that won't wear off for a while. And parent volunteers get to share that with the joy of seeing their child close a year of hard work at the barre by getting to dance for you!

Anyone who has tried to play lead guitar in the style of Carlos Santana will know how difficult it is to duplicate. I am not referring to copying a Santana solo from a TAB sheet, we're talking about understanding how Carlos creates his powerful solos.

Santana's powerful solos are a blend of interesting harmonic textures mixed with traditional earthy scales. Of course, there's a lot more to Carlos Santana's music than scales and chords, Carlos is a very definite guitarist, every note he plays is packed with energy and emotion.

Guitarist's trying to learn Santana's guitar solos often encounter notes and chords outside the standard guitar resource material of minor pentatonic scale plus power chord combination.

Here's 5 tips to help guitarist's grasp the concepts behind Santana's music.

1. Learn the Harmonic Minor scale .

Guitarist's who already know the natural minor scale can easily create the Harmonic minor scale by sharpening the seventh note of the natural minor scale.

Let's use the "A" natural minor scale as an example.

The notes in the "A" natural minor are as follows: A, B, C, D, E, F, G, A.

By sharpening the G we create the "A" harmonic minor scale: A, B, C, D, E, F, G#, A.

The natural minor scale is also known as the Aeolian mode.

2. Study chords produced from the Harmonic minor scale.

As the name implies the Harmonic minor scale produces as interesting family of rich sounding chords.

The following chords are created from the "A" harmonic minor scale.

chord 1 = A minor (#7), chord 2 = B minor 7th flat 5, chord 3 = C major 7th sharp 5, chord 4 = D minor 7th, chord 5 = E dominant 7th, chord 6 = F major 7th, chord 7 = G sharp diminished 7th.

The "A" minor (#7) chord is also known as a minor/major seventh chord e.g., Am (MAJ7).

The B minor 7th flat 5 chord is also known as a B half diminished chord.

3. Play the standard Harmonic minor chord progressions.

The most common chord progressions are the 2-5-1, 1-4-5, 1-6-2-5, 1-6-4-5 and 1-6-5 progressions.

The following examples are given in the key of A harmonic minor, notice how the preference is for a straight minor chord for chord one instead of a minor sharpened seventh.

2-5-1 = B minor seventh flat 5, E dominant seventh, A minor./ 1-4-5 = A minor, D minor seventh, E dominant seventh. /1-6-2-5 = A minor, F major seventh, B minor seventh flat 5, E dominant
seventh. / 1-6-4-5 = A minor, F major seventh, D minor seventh,E dominant seventh. / 1-6-5 = A minor, F major seventh, E dominant seventh.

4. Blues scale played over Harmonic minor chord progressions:

Obviously the harmonic minor scale will work well over the chord progressions created from that scale. Santana often plays the blues scale over the harmonic minor chord progressions.

Here is an example, the "A" blues scale consisting of the notes A,C,D,Eb,E,G can be played over a B minor seventh flat 5, E dominant seventh and A minor chords progression.

5. Let to play the Dorian Mode:

A number of popular Santana tunes are based on the Dorian mode. The song "Evil Ways" is in "G" Dorian the notes for G Dorian are: G,A,Bb,C,D,E,F,G. Whilst the tune "Black Magic Woman" is derived
from the "D" Dorian mode: D,E,F,G,A,B,C,D.

Learning new scales and chords can be very interesting, it is vitally important to be able to "hear" these new sounds, record the chord progressions and pay close attention to how each chord sounds so you can recognize them when you hear them new time.

The Santana style of playing can add a new dimension to your guitar playing and improve your ability to play guitar by ear, take your time and enjoy these interesting sounds.

Although not applicable always, an actor's career generally begins with modeling assignments. Therefore, the genesis of the word combination acting modeling is appropriate in the sense that both careers are interrelated to some extent at least. Models can be found featured on magazine covers, newspapers, billboards, posters, ads, and even on the packets that your grocery store provides. These models earn anything between $25 and $250 per hour.

These models can have very sharp features making them look drop dead gorgeous or they may even look like the next door friendly guy. The main motive of models is to present a face that people find attractive so as to sell a particular product. But for most of these models, modeling is not the end but is only a step-up to an acting career.

But the acting modeling world is highly competitive. In addition to a great face, you need a good agent to get you into the acting modeling world.

So here are some steps that will help you in the search for and the selection of a good agent and thus a successful entry into the acting modeling career.

The first dilemma that you face is to know where to find an agent. For this, you can search various local theaters and ask the actors there if they know of any agent or is there any agent available who represents them. Secondly, you can visit some photo studios and ask the photographers there if they know any good agent. Photographers are in constant touch with the modeling world, so they can find for you the right person. Another option also worth trying is a signatory agent. They are licensed agents, who are very professional in their approach.

After the search for agents is over, the next step is the selection of the one agent that you need. For this, you should do some background research on the various agents. If possible, ask their previous employers about their performance. After this, you should take a good look at their offices. Look carefully as to whether they have all the requisite things that an agent generally needs to have.

Also, one of the most important aspects to remember in the selection of an agent is the comfort level and the communication between you and the agent. These aspects prove crucial in deciding the pattern of growth of your career.

Agents can well prove to be a decisive factor in the success or failure of your getting into an acting modeling career. Acting modeling is a career that has become very competitive so you cannot afford to be casual in the search for and the selection of an agent.

Customer Review: Great live CD
I have bought this one, because in my opinion Shakira is the greatest artist of this century. After Oral Fictation 1 & 2, Laundry Service, Pies Descalzos and Donde Estan los Landrones this was the first live album that I've bought from her. I think I've already listened it for more than fifty times the last 3 months. Particularly this version of Estoy Aqui is very surprising.

The Future is Unwritten-DVD Documentary

Julien Temple, one of the early documentarians of the London punk scene and director of the 2000 Sex Pistols film The Filth and the Fury, turns his attention now to that other seminal British band: The Clash--or more accurately, to the band's co-founder, lyricist, rhythm guitarist and lead singer, Joe Strummer. The Future is Unwritten is more than just a biography of Strummer; it is a tribute and exploration of a musician, artist and devoted humanist. Though Temple respects and admires Strummer (his influence is exalted by close friends, peers and fans like Bono and John Cusack), he doesn't romanticize this larger-than-life personality and presents Strummer honestly and not always in flattering light, though the director's fondness for his subject is constant. Most movingly, Strummer himself provides the narration via reassembled excerpts from a variety of interviews and the BBC radio show he hosted during the nineties. In the wrong hands, this could be contrived, but in this masterful documentary it serves as a testament to not just Joe Strummer the myth, but Joe Strummer the man, telling us his story in vivid detail. The Future is Unwritten is a moving and personal portrait of a musician who helped shaped not just punk, but modern music as a whole. --Kira Canny
Customer Review: Amazing movie about a rock legend
There have been several movies made about Joe Strummer but Julien Temple's is unique in its personal touch. Temple was a friend of Strummer's for many years and so had insight into the man behind the music that many people did not have. The movie consists of Joe's life story as told by many friends, acquaintances, fellow artists and others who knew him or were influenced by him over the years. Amazing music, very well put-together, and just a great story about a man who was a huge influence on rock & roll and politics during his time on this earth. Joe was taken from the world too early when he died unexpectedly in December 2002 and after watching this movie one can only wonder what more he would have accomplished. The opening scene of Joe singing "White Riot" a capella in the studio is complemented by the closing scene of Joe and Mick Jones reuniting on stage 20+ years later to perform the same song...even though they were old (and Mick a little bald!) they still ROCKED. If you like the Clash, you must see this movie!!

Customer Review: My boys love this book.
This is a wonderful book of popular songs in Spanish, which my triplet boys latched onto immediately. The songs are very engaging, and each page has lovely artwork. I speak Spanish, and my boys were born in Spain. I have been trying very hard to help them maintain a little Spanish, and this book has been very helpful. It doesn't come with a CD, but you can easily learn the tunes of the songs if you know how to read music. And even if you only speak rudimentary Spanish, I think it's possible to learn the songs and enjoy them. This book quickly became the boys' favorite bedtime routine. I hear them singing the songs during the day as well. I highly recommend it.
Customer Review: Great book
I love the colorful pictures in this book and that it has music to all of the songs. It is a wonderful book and my baby loves when I sing to him!

You see the dancers on TV dancing behind Britney or Justin Timberlake. You're inspired to take up dancing so that you can become just like your idols. And you find that pretty soon, you wouldn't mind being up there yourself dancing with your very idols.

Sounds cool doesn't it? Dancing in music videos or doing backing dancing is the dream of most aspiring dancers and if you're reading this probably yours as well. After all when you've danced in a music video, that's when you know you've made it, right? But how do you actually do it and find yourself on TV screens across the country?

Well there are a variety of ways. Some of them super glamorous such as being spotted by a very intelligent scout who obviously knows talent when they see it and says that's you.

If this happens to you, congratulations, you've truly had it made. But for the rest of the people out there, there are ways to appear in a music video that are within your control. Being scouted is generally the exception rather than the rule.

The most common route is to go and find a good agent or agency who will find dance auditions for you. Most top dance jobs come through agencies who will put you forward for jobs that match your skills and attributes.

The first rule of thumb when applying for dance agencies is to make sure you're good enough. There is no point in auditioning for agencies if you've just stumbled into the industry and just picked up 1 or 2 dance moves from a dance class. Auditions are tough and you'll need to be good to go through.

Different agencies work differently. Most will ask you to send through your CV and professional pictures. If they like the look of you and what you have to offer they may offer you a place on their agency immediately. Especially if you've done a lot of high-profile work or are otherwise a well-known dancer.

It's more than likely though that most agencies will invite you to an audition to become represented by their agency. There are often many dancers at these auditions, especially for the well known agencies where it's not unusual to have several hundred auditionees.

If you do well at the audition they may then decide to take you on. And then they'll start putting you forward for work and sending you to auditions where you're auditioning for specific jobs such as music videos.

There are some agencies which will insist that you do not need any experience. You should be cautious with these agencies. By all means have a look to see what they have to offer, but exercise special caution. Many operate on the basis that you give them some money to get a place on their agency books, and then they won't send you on any auditions at all. Generally you should not pay to join an agency, if you do make sure they have a good record and send their people to good auditions.

There will also sometimes be open auditions and castings which means that you do not need to be with any agency and anyone is free to attend the audition. Open auditions can be very packed, but if you don't have an agent yet then you'll have to go to these auditions to start building up your CV and if you want to find work. They can be advertised in newspapers, websites and notice boards.

So all in all, it is possible to succeed and get work without being represented by an agent or agency, but a good agency can help your career tremendously by sending you out on a lot of quality music video auditions which can only be attended via an agency.

Ryan Heddik has enjoyed a successful dance career dancing on TV numerous times and is the author of the groundbreaking e-book' Dance In A Pop Video.' The book teaches aspiring dancers the exact process they can follow to find work in music videos with tried and tested principles that actually work. Con Mucha Potencia

While many carry the artist title because they are part of the music industry, very few can actually pretend to be entitled to the golden crown that makes them real artists.

As far as I can look back, music has always been full part of my life. Growing up with classical music with some openings towards jazz and pop music, I have extended my interest to black music including gospel, soul, blues, and of course, hip hop. I am usually open minded about music, as long as it pleases my ear. However, I am very picky when it comes to define somebody as a real artist. Only the Great who influenced music history deserve to be classified as real artists.

Johann Sebastian Bach is one of those real musicians. His music is an example of hard work. His incessant quest for perfection and harmony characterizes his music. Among the Great, you can count people like John Lennon, Ray Charles, Duke Ellington , James Brown, Eazy E, Nas-and yes- Eminem, whatever his haters might have to object. (This list of artists I mentioned here, is of course, non exhaustive)

Despite the fact RIP Proof was less known from the public than other famous artists, he had all the qualities that make a real artist.

So what is the definition of a real artist?

A real artist, a plain artist is a person who makes music for the love of it, not for the money only, even if he is perfectly conscious that he has a family to feed. A true artist must be inspirational to the listeners. Whatever his message is, people must be able to feel the music and to acknowledge the feelings expressed through the voice, lyrics and instrumentals.

A true artist usually has high requirements regarding the quality of his beats, instrumentals and recorded voice. Never satisfied with himself, he keeps working hard over the years in order to satisfy his public.

A true artist will always put his passion for the music, the will of sharing it and to satisfy his audience before the material aspect of the show biz.

A true artist definitely manages to generate a genuine enthusiasm among his audience.

While being on stage, he becomes the music. He and the audience are one and thats the full beauty of the musical fusion created by dedicated artists and a very receptive audience.

When you hear the song, you must be able to feel the artists feelings and to forget about yourself, because during such moments, there is only place left for the music. Yes, this can happen if the artist is a real, dedicated person towards his art.

When you heard a person like James Brown tell their audience: I feel so good I wanna screeeeaaam, you perfectly know that his words werent made up. There is a wonderful chemistry between such artists and the public. Good vibes are in the air and they penetrate into the mesmerized audiences.

Real artists usually stay humble in front of other great artists. Not only do they possess a good musical culture, but they will never mind quoting other legends. I heard James Brown paying homage to Ray Charles, for instance. So did Nas.

I do consider Eminem as a plain artist, because he changed the face of the rap game. He dared to use different themes than the usual themes used in hip hop and proved to be an astute word acrobat, playing with syllables and foolishly putting words together that you would never see side by side in real life. Moreover, his music touched a lot of people from different backgrounds all over the world.

RIP Proof never failed in naming big influences of his like Kurt Cobain, Jerry Garcia and John Lennon numerous times. One can consider D12 s Proof as a rhyming genius too. He had an amazing sense of realness and more importantly, a great passion for hip hop that wont die away since his
murder on April the 11th, 2006.

The Great in the music have the power to influence generations and usually make history. Even their deaths will never erase their contribution to the music history.

Entire artists are the ones who deserve your respect, because you know, deep inside of you, that they are the ones who live and breathe the music for your ears greatest pleasure. Only those guys will live on through their music over the centuries.

Def Jam Recordings - EMBROIDERED LOGO Hoodie , Burgundy

Now your Barbie and Ken dolls can perform and compete with pride as they showcase hand made ballroom dance costumes designed especially for them. Barbie can glide with style in her gorgeous gowns and feather boas while she dances the foxtrot or waltz with her handsome partner, Ken. He can be dressed in a coordinating costume made to knock the socks off any panel of judges. Or, you can design Latin costumes with red roses and black flashy fabrics chosen to strike a fire, burn up the dance floor, and intimidate the other competitors as Barbie and Ken execute advanced tango, rumba or mambo routines.
And, dont forget the fun you can have with fringe and other embellishments as you design jive and swing dance costumes to highlight their tricky steps.

The possibilities are endless! Being able to design and sew your own ballroom dance costumes for Barbie and Ken will allow you to create anything you want, and here are some tips on how to do it:

1. Start with standard Barbie and Ken doll clothes patterns. You can purchase these in most fabric stores and on internet craft sites. Watch for pattern sales, and you might save some money. You probably wont find actual ballroom dance doll patterns, but you can select some suitable for dresses, suits, or anything that you think will work with your costume ideas.

2. Decide on the style or theme of your costume. For example, when I decided to create a tango costume, I knew that I wanted Ken to have pants with a long sleeve shirt and a coordinating sash. As for Barbie, I wanted her to have a long dress with ruffles on the sleeves. Knowing a few specifics like these before you begin will help speed up the creative process and allow you to use your time more efficiently.

3. Think about the quality or type of fabrics, as well as the color. For the tango costume, I picked red and black fabrics in a variety of textures. Velour, nylon, and lycra are all great choices because they sew up easily, and they dont shred on the edges like many other fabrics. In addition, they have excellent stretch factors. Costumes made with these materials are flexible and fit the dolls well.

4. Be prepared to modify your patterns. It will be most convenient if you can find a pattern that matches the style you have in mind. But for me, that rarely happens and I usually adjust the pattern to get what I am looking for. To do this, I purchase inexpensive muslin and experiment until I get the fit just right. Then I use paper to draw the final pattern so that I can use it again in the future.

5. Have fun with embellishments! How often do you get to use sequins, glamorous trims, colorful fringe, fluffy feathers, or bright, flashy fabrics that glow in the dark? Let imagination be your guide, and have fun as you make your selections.

6. Remember that there is no right or wrong way to create your own Barbie and Ken ballroom costumes as long as you are happy with the final product. Your unique designs will be the envy of many doll and dance enthusiasts. Dont be afraid to experiment with colors and textures. Sometimes accidents happen along the way, and the unexpected style may actually be better than the original one. Good luck, enjoy, and let the dance begin!

Customer Review: Awesome guitarists!
This CD has the max 'WOW' factor!! It is unbelievable there are only two artists. If you love acoustic guitar and rythmic percussion, you'll love this music as much as I do. The DVD is very interesting, too. A nice addition, especially for anyone who has not seen them in person. I'm looking forward to another CD release.
Customer Review: incredible artistry
Although it's not my favorite collection of theirs, this is a wonderful example of their artistry - I especially like the way they can take a metal or hard rock song and make it their own as they do on 2 separate tracks here. These two are incredible artists.

There is some debate about the exact origins of salsa dance, but one thing is certain -- it first began as a dance form during the 1940s in New York City. According to which source you read, salsa dance was created by either Puerto Rican or Cuban immigrants at that time. The truth is probably lies in the middle somewhere, but there's one thing that no one questions: if you haven't learned to salsa dance yet, you're missing out on a lot of excitement!

Salsa has always been popular since it first began, but with the popularity of TV shows like 'Dancing With The Stars', the popularity of salsa dance is at an all-time high. It's also coincided with the rising popularity of Latin music in general over the past ten years, and so today the salsa dance craze is at a fever pitch. Now you can find a salsa nightclub in every major city in the U.S., so if you've ever wanted to learn salsa there's never been a better time.

If you've never danced salsa before, it can look like a very intimidating dance for the beginner. But with patience and the right instruction, it's very easy! Like any dance, it's simply a matter of learning the basic dance steps and then building on them by adding some personal styling as you become more adept.

There are many ways you can learn salsa, and there isn't any one way that works for everyone. If you're brave enough you can just start going to Latin nightclubs and get out on the dance floor, and try to copy what the more experienced dancers are doing. But for most people, it helps to learn at least some of the basics before trying out your moves on a public dance floor. There are two main ways that people learn to salsa dance: either with salsa lessons in a class setting, or through salsa dance videos.

There are advantages and disadvantages to both methods of learning salsa, and the best choice just depends on your personal learning style and the flexibility of your schedule. Learning with a salsa video is certainly convenient, and if you have a tight schedule it may be your only option. But if you can fit salsa lessons into your schedule, you'll also have the added advantage of a great opportunity to meet new friends with a common interest - and maybe even find a new few friends to go Latin nightclubbing with!

Whichever method you choose, if you want to learn salsa just get out there and DO it. You'll get a fantastic workout, and it's also one of the easiest ways possible to add some excitement to your life!
